2010 SUPER GT International Series Malaysia

18th - 20th June 2010

July 2, 2010 – During the recently concluded Round 4 of the Autobacs Super GT 2010 race in the Sepang International Circuit (SIC), JPM Motorsport made significant efforts in assisting the SIC to further promote the highly anticipated Autobacs Super GT 2010 Series, which took place on 20 June 2010.

These efforts were carried out on the days building up to the race, as well as on race day itself and proved to be significantly beneficial in adding to the excitement and hype of the Super GT as a whole in Malaysia.

JPM Motorsports’ pre-race efforts included Super GT ticket sales, and sales of Super GT Corporate Suites and Family Packages, of which all Corporate Suites were completely sold out.

Corporate Suites were priced between RM700 and RM999, and featured a comprehensive Super GT experience package. Family Packages were priced between RM180 and RM250 and were perfect for those looking to share the Super GT experience with family.

Throughout race day, JPM Motorsport successfully enhanced the Super GT experience for many that attended via a host of exclusive services that included:
* A gathering of supercar owners to display their cars for all those who attended the race.
* Further promotion of the Super GT via JPM Motorsports’ very own line up of GT Queens.
* Sales of exclusive Super GT T-shirts which proved to be a hot item among Super GT fans.
* Providing free flow of food and drinks to those in the Corporate Suites.
* An amazing “Safari Track Ride” where spectators roamed around on track in buses alongside the many GT cars that continuously sped by.
* A pit walkabout session which received extremely good participation.

All activities including the “Safari Track Ride” and pit walkabout were included in the Corporate Suites extended to Super GT fans by JPM Motorsport.

JPM Motorsports’ involvement in round 4 of the Autobacs Super GT 2010 Series did much to strengthen its presence in the world of motorsports and the Malaysian automotive industry. As a testament, JPM Motorsport had also invited the Minister of Tourism, YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Ng Yen Yen as the guest of honor for the event. A tour was given by Mr. JP Chin himself around the facilities such as the Corporate Suites and the Race Paddocks. The event, thoroughly explained by Mr. JP Chin and the GT Association, Japan in intricate details sparked interest and excitement within the entourage of the Ministry of Tourism. YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Ng Yen Yen was also fascinated with the idea of how motorsport events such as the Autobacs Super GT 2010 Series can contribute towards tourism in Malaysia. So much so, that YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Ng Yen Yen stayed throughout the event and graced the prize giving ceremony of the Autobacs Super GT 2010 Series - Round 4.

And as a result of the assistance provided in promoting the Autobacs Super GT 2010 Series - Round 4, JPM Motorsports’ efforts also directly contributed to the development of Malaysian motorsports.
